| [Editor's text introduction] (Dec. 18, 2011) -- The Daisy Ave. Christmas Parade -- now in its 58th year -- is a grassroots Long Beach treasure. Organized by neighbors in the Wrigley district, it runs down a residential street (Daisy Ave. between PCH and Burnett), not a commercial corridor.
But the parade is just one of a number of annual events on Daisy Ave. which include displays, entertainment and a formal tree lighting.
