The crowd, comprised mainly of young people of color, expressed solidarity with workers and immigrants.

There were hotel workers with their red-and-white shirts and Port drivers with their orange vests. Many marchers carried signs expressing their solidarity with immigrants.

A contingent of family and friends of Hector Morejon, unarmed when killed by LBPD in an officer-involved shooting, wore their black-and-white tee-shirts, demanding "Justice for Hector."

The chants were in English and Spanish. One chant was "When workers’ rights are under attack, what do we do? Stand up, fight back. When immigrants' rights are under attack, what do we do? Stand up, fight back."
