(April 13, 2003) -- NLB businesswoman and community activist (and LBReport.com reader) Linda Ivers provides the following digital photo and text:
| "[On April 12] we had a brief 'snow' flurry in the 5600 Block of Atlantic Avenue. The white fluff falling from the Chinese Silk trees planted in the median was caused by a flock of green parrots.
The seed pods of Silk trees have shed their hard shell, leaving a big, puffy white seed pod. A small flock of green parrots was observed pulling and scratching at the pods, causing the "snow" flurry."

Good shot and news eye, Ms. Ivers!
