    ELB Neighborhood Sprouts Yellow Ribbons

(April 7, 2003) -- An ELB neighborhood between Conant St. and Heartwell Park has sprouted yellow ribbons.

    Lots of them.

    And some big ones.

They're on Harco St. and Brockwood St. branching off Stearnlee Ave. (and probably other places we missed).

Some yellow ribbons are displayed alongside the red, white and blue.

And in this neighborhood, some four legged friends are star spangled.

One neighborhood resident was wary of our taking pictures, but when they found out why, they were glad we'd arrived. They hoped our readers would take a moment to think about what the ribbons and flags represent.
