(April 21, 2004) --The Mitsubishi subsidiary "Sound Energy Solutions" (SES) has released a summary of a telephone survey which concludes LB voters favor the firm's proposal to construct and operate an LNG facility in the Port of LB by roughly a 2 to 1 margin after being provided with statements about the project made by opponents and proponents.
In the public interest, LBReport.com posts on a link below the summary provided to media outlets by a LB firm representing SES.
The telephone survey was conducted in mid-March by the Santa Monica-based firm of Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin & Associates which (its web site says) has specialized in public policy-oriented opinion research since 1981.
The survey was directed by Dr. Richard Maullin, one of the founding members of the opinion research firm, who is a former chairman of the CA Energy Commission (1975-79).
