(April 18, 2005) -- Following-up on an advisory first posted by LBReport.com on our front page last night, LBPD responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the late afternoon-early evening on April 17...and arrived to find a man had been shot.

LBPD Public Information Officer Greg Schirmer says the shooting took place in the 1100 block of E. 10th St.

Details are sketchy. A Hispanic male victim standing in front of a residence was allegedly shot with a handgun by a Hispanic suspect. The victim was transported to a hospital.
