(April 16, 2006) -- LB's 6th annual "Haute Dogs Easter Parade," a charitable event organized by Belmont Shore promotion whiz and LB dog beach zone catalyst Justin Rudd, drew a large crowd to Livingston Park and nearby Second Street on Easter Sunday.
Canines of every shape, size and description (with their two legged friends in tow) came in creative costumes. LBReport.com posts extended photo coverage, below.
Parade founder/organizer Justin Rudd brought his beloved dog "Rosie" (watching in the wagon below).
The parade is presented by Mr. Rudd, HauteDogs.org (one of Mr. Rudd's websites) and his Community Action Team (CAT). A $10 donation per dog benefits CAT (a 501(c)(3) entity) which includes Operation Easter Basket, the monthly 30-minute Beach Clean-Up, Santa Paws, Haute Dogs, the Southern CA Spelling Bee Championship, the 4th of July Kids' Bike Parade and more.
Enjoy.

Elvis (wig sliding off, guitar around his neck) has not left the Shore.

Yes, this really is a St. Bernard.
"Spring" (two legs) with "Lamb" (four legs).
A well-behaved Poodle apparently sat still for a bath of blue food coloring.

This Easter costumed pooch apparently wanted a tummy rub...or something. An admirer looks on. Must be spring fever.

This dog came in chicken costume.
And yes, a cat adoption group also attended.
This furry friend appeared unimpressed with the costumed canines.
