(April 22, 2017, 5:50 a.m.) -- On Friday afternoon (April 21), Long Beach Firefighters rescued a worker who took a nasty tumble and fell about 20 feet into a hole (LBFD describes it as a sewer) in North Long Beach's DeForest Park.

Dan Presburg's grandchildren (and grand dad Dan) were nearby, saw the commotion and captured a very good news photo (below).

In a Tweet, LBFD says that at 3:32 p.m., LBFD responded and performed a "technical rescue" in North Long Beach after a 53 year old worker fell about 20 feet into the sewer...and transported the man to a hospital. (We've also included LBFD's Tweeted photos below.)
