(August 11, 2002) -- Gunfire rang out shortly after midnight today in the 1700 block of Cherry Ave. in the 4th Council district leaving 16-year old Pou Pon Long dead of gunshot wounds to his torso and leg. Police say the victim lived in the area.
LBPD says two potential male Asian suspects were seen driving off, southbound on Cherry Ave., in a gold late 1980's Honda Accord. The driver had a shaved head and investigators believe the crime is possibly gang related.
