Downtown Parking Change Effective Mon. Aug. 12:

  • South CityPlace Garage (3d/Pine) No Longer Available Free, Is Being Converted To Validated Parking For CityPlace & Downtown Biz Participating In Pine Square Validation Pgm.

    Parking attendant booth will hand out info advising of "alternate parking opportunities"; Nordstrom Rack to open Aug. 16


    (August 9, 2002) -- LB City Hall advises that effective August 12, the gates in the CityPlace south garage (3d and Pine) will be down (closed) and the garage will no longer be available for free parking.

    The South CityPlace garage is being converted to validated parking (two hours free) for customers of CityPlace and downtown businesses participating in the Pine Aquare validation program. City Hall says personnel in the parking attendant's booth will distribute information advising of "alternate parking opportunities."

    The Nordstrom Rack store is scheduled to open Friday, August 16.
