Aug. 11: Wrigley Area Shooting, Near Locust Ave. and Eagle St.
(August 12, 2002) -- LBPD reports a shooting at roughly 11:35 p.m. on August 11 in the Wrigley area near Locust Ave. and Eagle St. (just south of Burnett St.) in the 6th Council district.
Details are sketchy but police say a man was shot in the chest and multiple suspects fled. Police say the victim and witnesses were not cooperative in the investigation.
The victim's wounds are not believed to be life threatening.
