(August 18, 2004, updated Aug. 19) -- Grace Earl, tireless worker with the El Dorado Park South Neighborhood Association, says a scheduled August 20 appearance of the "Elm Street Band" (LB's homegrown classic rock 'n roll band) in El Dorado Park has been rescheduled to August 27.
A health matter in a band member's family required a one week delay...and the "show will go on" a week later.
Again: the previously scheduled August 20 Elm Street Band concert in El Dorado Park is cancelled...but has been rescheduled to August 27, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the northeast corner of Studebaker Rd. at Willow St.
(Word is that another band will perform in Los Cerritos Park on August 25; details on this to follow separately.)
As previously reported by LBReport.com, LB's Dept. of Health and Human Services has advised taking anti-mosquito precautions at such evening concerts (long sleeve shirts, long pants and the like, plus mosquito repellent with DEET applied according to instructions.)
