(August 21, 2008) -- LBPD has arrests a suspect in the murder of 70 year-old Rita Wiley, found stabbed in the backyard of her home in the 1000 block of E. 15th St. shortly after midnight August 21.
Roughly 18 hours later, LBPD had a suspect in custody: arresting Andrew Odom, 40, of LB for the murder at about 6:00 p.m. August 21.
LBPD says suspect Odom was taken into custody without incident at a motel in the area of PCH/Walnut Ave.
