(Aug. 25, 2008) -- 14 Belmont Shore adjacent locations were vandalized by graffiti on Sunday (Aug. 24)...and LBPD had taken two suspects into custody, ages 12 and 16.

LBPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Dina Zapaliski says officers were dispatched to the area of Livingston and Broadway at about 6:00 p.m. Sunday night regarding a witness who allegedly saw two teens tagging in the area.

Sgt. Zapalski says officers found the 12 year old suspect in the area to the rear of the 4900 block of Broadway and the 16 year old suspect in the area of 4th and Park; the youths were taken into custody without incident and transported to LBPD Youth Services Divsion for booking.

Police allege the suspects spray painted names and letters to the rear of homes off the alleys...with 14 victims in the areas of the 4900 block of Broadway and the 200 blocks of Argonne, St. Joseph, Park and Granada Aves.
