(August 18, 2009) -- A verbal altercation on 2nd St. in Belmont Shore escalated to an assault with a deadly weapon when a suspect used a blunt object to assault two victims on Sunday morning at 1:30 a.m.
LBPD says the events took place in the 5300 block of 2nd St. at about 1:30 a.m. LBPD and LBFD responded; both victims were treated at the scene. LBPD says its investigation is ongoing.
