27 Yr-Old Woman Murdered, Found w/ Multiple Gunshot Wounds Along Parkway, 300 block E. 56th St. | |

(Aug. 30, 2010) -- The body of a 27 year old woman was found in the parkway in the 300 block of E. 56 St. (between Atlantic Ave. and Long Beach Blvds.) this morning.
LBPD says it's a murder. The female victim had multiple gunshot wounds to her torso and was pronounced dead at the scene. "Based on preliminary investigation, it appears as though the shooting may have occurred sometime during the night. The body was discovered this morning when a passerby saw her and called 9-1-1. A motive for this shooting is unknown at this time and the investigation remains ongoing," says LBPD in a release.
