(Aug. 19, 2015) -- Two people -- a man and a woman (both adults) were shot last night (Aug. 18) in the 6300 block of Long Beach Blvd. in NLB's Coolidge Triangle (neighborhood in NW area west of L.A. river.)

LBPD's overnight Watch Commander Jeff Berkenkamp told LBREPORT.com that officers responded at roughly 10:07 p.m. to a shooting in the 6300 block of LB Blvd. There's no immediate information on the circumstances (motive; walk-up, drive-by.) The victims sustained what are believed to be
A few hours later, in the predawn hours of Aug. 19, a "no hit" shooting occurred in the 1500 block of Stanton Place (2 blocks east of Cherry between Anaheim and PCH, person not struck by the gunfire.)
