(Aug. 10, 2018) -- Gunfire flew on Thursday night (Aug. 9) in a "no hit" shooting that damaged an unoccupied vehicle from shots heard coming from another vehicle in the 2000 block of E. Spring St. (border of LB's 5th/7th Council districts touching the Signal Hill border.)
LBPD Public Information Officer Arantxa Chavarria says the potential victim(s) and suspect(s) were gone on the officer's arrival...but officers found evidence of a shooting and determined that a vehicle had been struck. There's no suspect vehicle description and no injuries were reported. LBPD says it's unknown if the incident is gang related and its investigation is ongoing. [Scroll down for further.] |
