(Aug. 9, 2018, 8:05 p.m.) -- LBREPORT.com learned this afternoon (Aug. 9) that Urban Commons (City Hall's Queen Mary land development lessee/ship operator) was scheduled to host some type of dinner event aboard the ship tonight for Mayor Robert Garcia.

No, we don't know (yet) who attended and what was discussed [and we're not among insiders invited to such things.] Efforts at midafternoon to reach Urban Commons' media contacts and Mayor Garcia's Chief of Staff (both via email) to this point have been unproductive. [Updated text: Peggy McCabe, Dir. of Marketing for Urban Commons, LLC, emailed: "We have not been briefed on this event and have no information to share."]

If you received an invitation or know someone who did, or if you attended or know someone who did, email us at mail@LBReport.com and let us know what you know.

Amnesia File: During his 2014 campaign for Mayor, then Vice-Mayor/Councilman Garcia boasted that he had put his calendar online for all to see. After he was elected Mayor, his online calendar vanished and hasn't returned.

Developing as newsworthy.
