    Police Dept., Fire Dept And Several City Agencies (Incl. Code Enforcement & Public Works) Conducting "Take Back Our Streets" Enforcement Activities Dec. 13 & 14 in LBPD South Division

    (December 13, 2002) -- Advisory: In a tangible follow-up to the "Take Back Our Streets" strategy announced by LB police Chief Anthony Batts last week (and reported in detail on LBReport.com, for our coverage, click here), LBPD officers, LB Fire Dept. personnel as well as City Hall agencies including Code Enforcement and the Public Works Dept. are undertaking enforcement operations Dec. 13 & 14 in the LBPD's South Division.

    Today's "Take Back Our Streets" actions involve a number of city departments and focus on LBPD beats 6, 7 and 8 which are among current high crime areas.
