(Dec. 31, 2003, initial post) -- A 14-year old boy was shot, and a 34-year old man also have been hit, when gunfire flew in the area of 11th St. and Raymond Ave. just hours before 2004 arrived.

Details are sketchy as we post. LBPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Paul LeBaron says the shots rang out at about 8:01 p.m. on December 31.

Police described the suspect as a male Hispanic wearing a hooded sweatshirt. His victims were described as Asian...and reportedly were not seriously injured.
