    Man Fatally Shot While Driving In 1500 Block E. 14th St.


    (Dec. 31, 2003, initial post) -- A man driving in the 1500 block of E. 14th St. -- roughly a couple of blocks east of MacArthur Park in the 6th Council district -- was fatally shot on the final afternoon of 2003.

    LBPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Paul LeBaron tells LBReport.com that police responded to a traffic accident...and discovered that the man in the driver's seat had at least one gunshot wound to the chest.

    The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died as a result of his wounds. No suspect information as we post.
