(Dec. 13, 2003) -- Two Airport items agendized by 4th district Councilman Dennis Carroll at the Dec. 2 City Council meeting with an explicit notation that they would be put over until the Dec. 16 Council meeting do not appear on the published Dec. 16 Council agenda.
As previously reported by LBReport.com, Councilman Carroll had agendized a resolution expressing a city policy of "No Airport Expansion," and a proposed Charter Amendment (no text included) to require a vote of the people prior to any amendment to the city's Airport Noise Compatibility Ordinance.
Both items indicated that "At the request of the Mayor, and due to the length of the agenda" the items would be continued to the next regular City Council meeting on December 16, 2003.
Neither item appears on the Dec. 16 Council agenda.
On the morning of December 12, LBReport.com left a telephone message with Councilman Carroll's office inviting his response. As of this posting, we have not received a response. If we do, we will update this page accordingly.
