(December 21, 2004) -- A 52 year-old LB man was found fatally wounded in the driveway of a home north of Wardlow Rd. and east of Santa Fe Ave. shortly before dawn on Dec. 21.

LBPD says it responded to a "shots fired" call in the 3600 block of Denver Ave. and found 52 year-old Salvador Gonzalez Medina suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the shooting does not appear to be gang related...and the motive is unknown. LBPD asks anyone with information to contact Homicide Detectives David Rios or William K. Matsubara at (562) 570-7244.
