Good News! ELB Lost Doggie Reuntied With Owners

(December 18, 2004, 4:00 p.m.) -- LBReport.com is pleased to announce that this lost Springer Spaniel has been reunited with his ELB owners.

He escaped form their garage last night when a neighbor left the door open by mistake.

An LBReport.com reader emailed us last night after finding the dog frantic, rushing around the parking lot at Denny's/Starbucks @ Bellflower/Spring, desperately looking for his owners.

The good hearted reader, whom we can now identify as Debbie Lombardi, took the dog in and asked if we could help. We posted the photo and info right away.

This morning (Sat. Dec. 18), Ms. Lombardi was putting up signs along Spring St. and saw some people in their yard...who recognized the dog as belonging to people about two blocks away. They escorted the reader and doggie to the owners...who were very happy to be reunited.

Thank you, readers, for your many kind email messages...and thank you, Ms. Lombardi, for enabling today's pooch and people reunion.

    And Merry Christmas.
