(December 14, 2005) -- A 38 year old woman -- inside her LB residence in the area of Pine Ave. and 21st St. -- was hit by stray gunfire at about 9:15 p.m. on Dec. 13. She suffered a wound to the leg.
LBPD says there's no evidence the shots were directed at her. Her wound was described as "non-life threatening."
A little over two hours later, another person was wounded by gunfire in LB in the area of Anaheim St near Rose Ave.
LBPD says that at about 11:30 p.m., a male Black in his 20s was standing near his vehicle when a male Hispanic drove by and fired shots at him. The victim was struck in the arms and transported to a hospital with what are described as "non-life threatening" wounds.
