News Serious Dec. 6 Morning Accident, 405 @ Cherry
(Dec. 6, 2005) -- LB Firefighters cut open part of the roof, removed the driver side doors and used the Jaws of Life to rescue a driver whose vehicle was involved in a collision with a motor coach bus on the southbound 405 freeway at Cherry Ave. today (Dec. 6).

17 LBFD personnel successfully extricated the driver in about 23 minutes. The force of the impact caused the driver and passenger side airbags to deploy. LBFD Paramedics transported the driver to a hospital in serious condition.
The cause of the accident is unknown as we post. Further as newsworthy.
