(Dec. 12, 2006) -- A take-over robbery -- in which three adult armed robbers entered a video game store, tied up victims, locked them in bathroom and robbed the business -- took place in the 5500 block of Woodruff Ave. (a few blocks north of LB's city limit) on Monday night Dec. 11.
Lt. Terry Benjestorff of LASO's Lakewood station tells LBReport.com that at about 9:30 p.m., three male Hispanics aged 25-30 years of age, allegedly entered the location armed with handguns and after tying up two victims, locked them in a bathroom and proceeded to steal about $7,500 in video systems and games.
Nobody was injured; the suspects are outstanding...and LASO is actively pursuing this case as we post.
