(Dec. 15, 2009) -- LBReport.com has learned that the cause of death for LB Jr. Concert Band Director Marvin Marker is officially listed as complications of hypertensive arterial sclerotic cardiovascular disease, which included a significant medical condition of diabetes.
Chief Deputy for the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner, Michelle Weiss-Samaras, says that the office did not perform an autopsy in view of the Mr. Marker's clinical history and his age (74).
On December 6, Mr. Marker collapsed at the Denver airport, was rushed to a hospital...but couldn't be revived.
Less than 24 hours earlier, he marched alongside his beloved band members in the Belmont Shore Christmas Parade...and a little over a week earlier marched the entire length of Hollywood's Christmas Parade.
