(Dec. 19, 2014, 3:55 a.m.) -- FBI spokesperson Laura Eimiller provides LBREPORT.com with updated information on yesterday's (Dec. 18) Bixby Knolls bank robbery (Chase bank branch, 3901 Atlantic Ave. @ Roosevelt Rd.)

FBI spokesperson Eimiller says the suspect allegedly threatened to kill the teller although no weapon was seen.

And the FBI believes the suspect in the Bixby Knolls bank robbery is the same suspect who robbed a Burbank bank on Saturday (Dec. 13)...and is seen in the photos below.

(Dec. 18, 2014) -- The Bixby Knolls branch of Chase Bank (3901 Atlantic Ave. at Roosevelt Rd.) was robbed at midday today (Dec. 18.)

FBI spokesperson Laura Eimiller says the robbery occured at roughly 11:25 a.m, and the suspect passed a note demanding cash. Ms. Eimiller says the suspect was described as a black male, roughly 5'9" to 6', wearing [updated] white pants, eyeglasses and a dark jacket. [end updated clothing]

Ms. Eimiller says the FBI is investigating whether the suspect may have been involved in other robberies.

LBPD says a man allegedly passed a note to a teller, demanded money...and fled with an undisclosed sum.

The suspect, described as an African-American man, 5'9" to 6' tall, was last seen wearing glasses, black pants and a black "hoodie" with a red stripe around the collar. No weapon was reported seen.
