(Dec. 14, 2014, 8:15 a.m.) -- LBREPORT.com is saddened to report that the body of Ashlee Armond, a 20 year old woman declared missing on Dec. 13, was recovered last night from inside a vehicle submerged in the Los Cerritos channel in the area of at 5th St./Silvera Ave.
In a release, LBPD says its preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was heading eastbound on 5th St., failed to stop at the end of the roadway and drove into the Los Cerritos Channel...and detectives believe what occurred was accidental. [Scroll down for further] |
[LBPD release text] Late last night [Dec. 13], Long Beach Police located a vehicle submerged in the Los Cerritos Channel at 5th Street, east of Silvera Avenue. It was believed that the vehicle could possibly be the vehicle related to the missing person’s investigation involving 20-year-old Ashlee Armond.
