Woman Says Man Assaulted Her With A Knife in CSULB Parking Structure One (Closest To And SW Of Pyramid)

(Dec. 9, 2014) -- CSULB University Police say a woman reports a man with a knife assaulted her at midafternoon Monday (Dec. 8) in Parking Structure One (the one closest to and SW of the Pyramid.)

In an online release, CSULB University Police state:

At approximately 3:45 pm, University Police were notified of a person who stated that they were assaulted by a subject with a knife. The person reporting the crime stated this happened at approximately 2:20 pm in Parking Structure 1 on the 4th level. It was reported that the victim was walking to her car when the male subject brandished the knife. She stated she tried to grab the knife and injured her hand in the process. The suspect dropped the knife, picked up the knife, and then ran southbound from the 4th level of Parking Structure 1.

When University Police received the call officers were immediately dispatched to the area and began looking for the suspect.
The victim described the suspect as a white male in his 20's, medium build, approximately 5' 8" tall, wearing a clean blue baseball cap, glasses, a navy blue t-shirt, and blue jeans...
