(Dec. 10, 2014) -- On Dec. 12, 13 and 14, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the 5500 block of Wardlow Rd. between Bellflower Blvd. and Woodruff Ave. becomes a free annual Christmas Pageant: "Portraits of the Prince of Peace."

A candlelight path tells the story of Christmas with an outdoor walk displaying multiple nativity scenes, with actors and live animals (photos below.)

Six prominent churches in the area, located within a few short blocks, feature free entertainment and refreshments as choirs, musical groups, chimes and handbills add to the celebration.
