SCE Outage Darkened 1,084 Customers In Parts of Cal Hts/Signal Hill Sun Night, Most Restored By About 9:30 But About 200+ Dark Till Shortly Before Dawn Monday

(Dec. 22, 2014, 8:20 p.m.) -- A broken cross-arm on a power pole put about 1,084 SCE customers in the dark on Sunday night (Dec. 21) starting about 7:53 p.m. says SCE spokesperson Lois Bruce.

Power was restored to nearly 800 customers by about 9:30 p.m...and the remainder were back up at 5:06 a.m. Monday.

The outage area stretched from (very rough boundaries) Cherry to Atlantic Aves. and from east 32nd St. to Bixby Rd.
