Mon a.m. Temp is 36.2 degrees (as of 6:14 a.m.) after 34.9 on Sun a.m. at LBCC ELB weather station; Nat'l Weather Service Expects Gradual Warming...With Highs Hitting Near 70 Degrees New Years Eve/New Years Day

(Dec. 28, 2015, updated 6:25 a.m.) -- Monday morning's temp (Dec. 28) dipped to 36.2 degrees (6:14 a.m.) after a Sunday a.m. low of 34.9 degrees) recorded at LBCC's ELB weather station (area Carson St./Clark Ave.) It's probably a few degrees warmer by the shoreline and areas in between but not by much.

The National Weather Service expects the morning lows to rise into the 40s...with daytime highs also rising into the 60s...with an incredible 70 degrees forecast (at this point) for New Year's Eve Day and New Year's Day.
