Explosion/Small Fire, 2100 block Locust Ave. WASN'T A Meth Lab; No Persons Injured Or Found Inside, LBPD Investigating As Possibly Arson

(Dec. 22, 2016, 7:52 p.m.) -- LBPD says an explosion at a residence in the 2100 block of Locust Ave. (eastern end of the Wrigley district) at early evening Thursday (Dec. 22) was NOT a meth lab is being investigated as possibly arson.

LBFD Public Information Officer / Firefighter Brian Fisk the explosion started a small fire that firefighters quickly extinguished.

LBPD Public Information Officer Marlene Arrona tells LBREPORT.com that officers were dispatched at roughly 6:43 p.m. and didn't find any injured parties or anyhone inside the residence. LBPD PIO Arrona says it wasn't a meth lab and is being investigated as possibly arson...and LBPD's investigation remains ongoing.
