(Dec. 22, 2016, 7:25 p.m.) -- In the 36 hour period from 3:53 a.m. Dec. 21 to 3:53 p.m. Dec. 22, the Nat'l Weather Service monitor at LB Airport recorded 1.23" of rain.

And there's more coming, as NWS forecasts a 20% chance of rain on Friday Dec. 23, and 100% chance by Friday night.

Saturday's forecast calls for a decreasing chance of showers on Christmas Eve December 24.

NWS says Christmas Day in LB will be mostly sunny and about 60 degrees...although Friday and Saturday's rain could bring nearby mountains a White Christmas.
