(Dec. 10, 2016. 9:15 p.m.) -- A man was stabbed, and LBPD took a teen into custody, on Saturday night in the area of Pacific Ave. at Hill Street (6th Council district)...roughly five blocks due east of the northern end of the Daisy Ave. Christmas Parade which had just ended about 15 minutes earlier.
LBPD Public Information Officer Sgt. James Richardson tells LBREPORT.com that on Dec. 10 at about 7:15 p.m. officers were flagged down at Pacific Ave and Hill St regarding a stabbing that had occurred. A man (adult) was the victim and LBPD transported him to a hospital where was reported in stable condition. LBPD took a 17 year old male into custody without incident and a located a possible weapon used in the stabbing at the scene. LBPD says the incident is not believed to be gang related.
