(February 11, 2002) -- On Sunday February 10, the L.A. Times carried an article discussing pollution it attributed to operations at the Ports of LA & LB.
We consider the article, entitled "Finally Tackling L.A.'s Worst Air Polluter," an important part of the public conversation about our City-operated Port and its effects on LB residents and taxpayers, their health and safety, neighborhoods and infrastructure.
We have invited the Port of LB (through its media office) to respond or provide information for LBReport.com readers in connection with issues raised by the L.A. Times piece.
