(Feb. 11, 2007) -- A reported shooting in downtown's trendy "East Village" brought police activity to the area of 6th St/ at Linden Ave/ on Saturday night Feb. 10.

LBPD PIO Juan Gomez says that at about 7:30 p.m. a male subject walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound (non-life threatening) and said he'd been shot in the area of 6th St./Linden Ave. Officers were dispatched to search for evidence at scene.
Suspect descriptions aren't available and no one is yet in custody.
Just days earlier on Feb. 6,, a double-shooting -- in which one victim died -- rocked the 400 block of East 3rd St. betwen Linden Ave. and LB Blvd.
