News LBFD Frees Pinned Victim In NLB Crash
(Feb. 22, 2009) -- LB firefighters responded at roughly 4:40 a.m. Sunday to 6000 block of LB Blvd. and managed to extricate a passenger from the mangled vehicle wreckage below in roughly ten minutes.

LBFD Public Information Officer Capt. Jackawa Jackson says the male driver managed to climb from the wreck without injury.

LB firefighters went to work, freed the pinned passenger from the wreckage...and he was transported to a hospital. (The driver wasn't transported.)

LBFD PIO Capt. Jackson says there were no other drivers involved, no injuries to civilians or firefighters and the accident is under investigation.
