(Feb. 7, 2009) -- A LBReport.com reader emailed us this photo (apparently captured using a long lens) looking toward the harbor from the area of Ocean Blvd/Linden Ave. at about 9:03 a.m.

"This was the last of three spouts in about a 10 min. time span," the reader said in response to our follow-up.

LBReport.com separately checked with the National Weather Service office in Oxnard...where meteorologist Todd Hall confirmed that the Coast Guard reported waterspouts in the San Pedro channel about 7 a.m...and the NWS received reports of additional waterspouts at about 9 a.m., mainly south of LB.
