(Feb. 8, 2010) -- A North Wrigley area business was robbed at gunpoint in the noon-hour on Friday Feb. 5.
LBPD Public Information Officer Nancy Pratt says that about 12:15 p.m., a man walked into an eating establishment in the 3400 block of Pacific [by our reckoning, near the Metro Blue Line station], removed a handgun from his waistband, demanded money...and fled with the loss.
The suspect is described as an African-American man in his 20s.
As previously announced, LBReport.com plans to provide live video of a Bixby Knolls/Cal Hts. Community Safety Meeting on Feb. 10 with LBPD North Division Commander David Henricks and Councilmembers Rae Gabelich and Tonia Reyes Uranga.
The Feb. 10 Community Meeting (6 p.m. @ Hughes Middle School, 3846 California Ave.) follows-up on residential burglaries and commercial armed robberies/burglaries (including attempts) in the area of Atlantic Ave. in Bixby Knolls/Cal Hts.
