(Feb. 9, 2010) -- LBReport.com has learned that another Bixby Knolls business recently became a crime victim along the Atlantic Ave. corridor.
It occurred in the 3900 block of Atlantic Ave. (north of Roosevelt Rd.) in the predawn hours of Saturday, Feb. 6. The impacted business was an eating establishment.
LBPD Public Information Officer Jackie Bezart says that at about 4:40 a.m., officers responded to the 3900 block of Atlantic Ave to take a burglary report to a business. "A store representative received a call from the alarm company which prompted them to respond to the business where they discovered the business had been entered and police were called. A burglary report was taken and investigation continues."
LBReport.com notes that the location is basically across the street from a business that was victimized by an attempted armed robbery on Feb. 1.
As previously reported by LBReport.com, the same general area also had a business burglary + three attempted business burglaries and/or vandalism on Jan. 27.
