(Feb. 1, 2012) -- As seen LIVE last night on LBReport.com, we now provide on-demand audio access to Councilwoman Gerrie Schipske's "State of the 5th Council District" presentation. (We use audio here because podium mike was able to capture sharper audio than ambient room speaker).

Those making presentations during the event included LBPD East Division Commander Michael Beckman and City Manager Pat West.

The now-annual event (begun by Councilwoman Schipske) brought roughly 80 people to the El Dorado Senior Center. Among those visible in the audience; LB City Prosecutor Doug Haubert (with kidlet attending); 4th district Council candidate John Watkins; Public Works Director Mike Conway; LB Parks & Rec Dir. George Chapjian; Parks & Rec staffer Bob Livingstone; LB Airport Director Mario Rodriguez and El Dorado Park Neighborhood South advocate Grace Earl.
