(Feb. 24, 2014) -- On Feb. 24, Sen. Ron Calderon pleaded not guilty to allegations against him in the indictment below.
(Feb. 23, 2014) -- Following up on a story reported Friday (Feb. 21) on LBREPORT.com, we provide access below to the court-filed indictment detailing the political corruption allegations against state Senator Ron Calderon and his brother, Tom Calderon.

An indictment contains allegations that the defendants have committed crimes. Every defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.

If Ron Calderon were to be convicted of the 24 charges in the indictment, he would face a statutory maximum sentence of 396 years in federal prison. If Tom Calderon is convicted of the money laundering charges alleged in the indictment, he would face a statutory maximum sentence of 160 years in prison.
