LBPD Motor Officer Injured In Monday Midmorning Collision, Willow/Earl

(Feb. 2, 2015) -- As flashed on LBREPORT.com's front page (www.LBREPORT.com) this morning (Feb. 2), at about 8:25 a.m. an LBPD motorcycle officer was injured in a collision with a vehicle at the intersection of Willow St. at Earl Ave. (Central LB.)

LBPD Public Information Officer Nancy Pratt says a 1997 Honda CRV was travelling northbound on Earl Ave (between Pacific Ave. and LB Blvd.) while an LBPD Motor Officer was travelling eastbound on Willow St.; the vehicle and motorcycle collided in the intersection; the motor officer was transported to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries and the driver of the Honda wasn't injured.

PIO Pratt says no one was arrested/cited and the cause of the collision is under investigation
