Five Individuals Arrested 800 Block Gardenia: Three Narcotics-Related, One Parole Violation, One Outstanding Warrant
(January 17, 2004) -- LBPD officers have been busy in Central LB.
LBPD Public Information Officer Greg Schirmer says that in the 2000 block of Martin Luther King Ave., gang detail officers arrested an individual described by police as a known gang member for alleged possession of a loaded gun. PIO Schirmer says the arrest came when the officers were conducting patrols in the area...and the suspect allegedly threw his gun onto a roof when he saw the officers.
PIO Schirmer also says that on January 15 at about 2:00 p.m., LBPD served three search warrants in an apartment complex in the 800 block of Gardenia Ave. Five people were arrested: three on narcotics-related offenses including sales, one for parole violation and another on outstanding warrant. LBPD says it seized cocaine, heroine and methamphetamine.
