    Two WLB Residents Tied Up & Robbed, 1500 block Parade St.; One Suspect In Custody, Another On The Loose


    (January 30, 2004, posted 11:25 a.m.) -- Two WLB men were allegedly tied up and robbed in their residence in the 1500 block of Parade St. by two suspects on Friday, Jan. 30.

    As we post, one suspect is in custody and another is at large.

    LBPD Public Information Officer Greg Schirmer tells LBReport.com that shortly after 8 a.m., LBPD responded to a call of a man with a gun and arrived on scene to find two suspects running from the area. Officers chase on foot, apprehended one suspect in the 1900 block of Santa Fe Ave. and recovered some of the loss.

    The suspect remains at large as we post. He is described as a male Hispanic in his 30s, about 5'6" tall, 160 pounds, last seen wearing a dark baseball cap, dark jacket and dark pants.

    Anyone with information about this crime or the suspects should contact LBPD immediately.
