(Jan. 22, 2008) -- Following-up on a story first reported yesterday on LBReport.com's front page (www.lbreport.com), a shooting in the NW corner of LB (east of Compton Community College) has claimed the life of a young man.
The victim is identified as Ikime Sims, 20, of LB...who was found by officers responding to a shots-fired call in the area of 68th Way and Orcutt Ave. on Sunday night Jan. 21 at about 9:30 p.m. He later succumbed to his injuries.
